About The Boji Group | Staff Biographies
The Boji Group was formed in May of 1998 before it purchased the tallest building in Lansing, formerly known as the Michigan National Tower.  This structure encompasses 25 stories with an excess of 250,000 square feet of class A office space servicing private firms as well as State of Michigan Departments.

In today’s current real estate market, meticulous attention must be paid to all aspects of property management.  The Boji Group and its management division have produced greater return on its investments through enhancing revenue, operational efficiencies and expense control.

Our daily process begins with our property manager, Keith Kelley.  His team has over 50 years of combined experience.  They are responsible for all aspects of building operations, maintenance schedules, repair, replacement and augmentation/remodeling of existing space for our tenants.  Keith alone has over 20 years of experience and is considered a valuable asset of the management team for all properties in the Boji Group portfolio.  Our current staff also includes four general technicians who are capable of handling almost any maintenance problem.  Our maintenance team increases the efficiency of the service we provide while lowering costs and lead times in addressing the requests of our tenants.

The Boji Group takes specific pride in the appearance and condition of each property under our control.  Our management team is trained to handle any management situation and is kept abreast of the latest managerial techniques to maintain and enhance the value of our properties.  This is specifically evident the in the Boji Tower building.  After its purchase in May of 1998, the Boji Group made specific capital investments and improvements, which contributed to a greater profitability margin for its owners.  Through aggressive marketing by CB Richard Ellis Martin, the Boji Group was also able to secure its current tenant base as well as obtain new tenants in the building.  When all was said and done, the appraised value of the building rose substantially in only two short years.  This fact is even more significant considering the building in question is 75 years old.

While most developers and property managers value their assets in the manner of bricks and mortar, the Boji Group has always considered its primary assets to be the tenants who occupy space in our buildings.  With a tenant base of prominent firms such as Bank of America, State of Michigan Senate, General Motors, Dykema, Fraser Trebilcock Dunlap & Davis, Central Michigan University and Senator Carl Levin, our overriding principal is to take complete care of the needs of our tenants while providing a safe and comfortable working environment.  This philosophy alone has translated into full or near full occupancy levels in our properties.
