Louie Boji

Louie is the founder and Chairman of Boji Group. Louie is the patriarch of a wide range of family-owned businesses including real estate, gas stations and convenience stores, warehouse and distribution centers, several hotels and fast food restaurants totaling more than 50 properties located throughout Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina and California. Collectively, these companies employ more than 600 people and generate revenues in excess of $.5 billion.

Early on, Louie became involved in a number of grocery and convenience stores with a variety of partners. His role was to provide finance, management and real estate expertise, including the development of two large retail centers before leading the acquisition of the Michigan National Tower from Michigan National Bank in 1998. His visionary insight and expert business management has been instrumental in growing the impressive real estate portfolio.

Louie is an active community participant and serves on several boards including treasurer of the Parish Council at Mother of God in Southfield; former treasurer and current vice chairman of the Arab American and Chaldean Council; and was appointed by Governor Snyder to the Michigan Education Trust. In 2007, Louie was awarded Business Person of the Year by the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce.

Louie earned a law degree in his homeland of Iraq from the University of Baghdad in June 1965, immigrated to the U.S. in 1968 and became a citizen in 1974.
